Spent most of yesterday editing- an exhausting process but a much needed one. Looking at this project for the first time after six years is bringing up a lot of feelings… ☠️

Was tagged in a meet the author post challenge…the only caveat is you can’t use a filter or the flip camera setting thingy- (yes thingy is a word) I only changed the background because no one want to see my messy kitchen. Ok here we go: Name: Melissa Age: 40 Kids: got em but they’re old (18/20) Pets: yup got those as well Genre: I keep it dark. Inspirations: writing : Too many to name. Life: my madre who I am way too much alike. Hobbies: I’m relearning piano and working on discovering the space time continuum so I can go back in time before I committed to this post. Siblings: Yeah but I’m the favorite. Pet peeves: long stupid surveys. Published: yes but I broke with my publisher this year and decided to go it alone because damn the man! This was annoying but I said I would do it and I did- I refuse to tag anyone because this madness needs to end! ☠️🥃

Can’t sleep, don’t have the energy to read- I Guess audible is good for something after all. If you close your eyes you can almost imagine yourself transported back to a time when the radio was the only form of entertainment…but this time without the second WW or blatant racism and bigotry
I normally don’t put these in my feed but felt that this one deserved it. I wanted to pay tribute to a writer, comedian and someone who spent his life making others laugh. When watching television and movies I often gravitate towards comedy. I like to laugh. There is so much in this world that is dark and evil so those that can look into the craziness and show others how to laugh at it’s absurdities are my kind of people. Comedy takes talent, timing, and an uncanny ability to open doors for those topics that are hard to digest without the vulnerability and seriousness that goes along with it, thus comedians are able to help soften the harshness of life. And for that - I’m thankful. RIP to a legend in this arena. …and let’s face it fart jokes are funny…
